Installing tires, consumes other items. There is a bead lubricant that is designed to support the correct fitment of the tire and reduce the potential for damage to the tire and wheel in the fitment process. There are solvents and cleaners needed to remove coatings that the manufacturer places on the tires to protect them during shipping and storage. Often the wheel itself needs cleaning to remove dirt that may impact the balancing of the wheel and to make certain that the wheel’s mounting face that attaches to the vehicle is clear. There are lubricants and products used on the wheel nuts themselves.
